Bio: Pam Brown is the Vice President of Future Forwarding Company with 28 years of experience in the industry. Pam began her career as an export clerk before transitioning to imports. Then, she became a licensed broker in 1991. Pam is a member of Cambridge Who's Who amongst Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs. She is also a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) and a Certified Export Specialist (CES) with the NCBFAA. Pam has been very active over the years in the local association serving on the Inbound Customs Committee as a member, chairing this committee for 3 years, and serving on the Executive Board as the Secretary and Vice President before becoming President. Pam also remains very active in the NCBFAA by attending the annual conferences as well as the yearly Government Affairs Conference. International Trade is her true passion or some may say obsession.

Bio: Laurie Arnold is the Regulatory Compliance Officer and Corporate broker for JAS Forwarding (USA) Inc. with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Her main focus is in customs brokerage and import/export compliance. She also has experience in forwarding and trucking. She became a licensed broker in 1993. She is also a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) and Certified Export Specialist (CES) with the NCBFAA. She currently serves as the Vice President with the IFFCHBA of Atlanta Association after serving as treasurer for the IFFCHBA for 2 years. She is also currently the Government Affairs Coordinator for GA.

Lisa Kendrick is a co-founder and officer of Global Freight Solutions, Inc. She discovered the international forwarding industry while on an internship assignment in Hamburg, Germany. At the time, Lisa was completing her Masters in International Business and decided that not much was more international than transportation. (She also thought it wouldn’t require a lot of math, so the joke is on her every single day.) Lisa began her career as an entry writer in 1987 and obtained her broker’s license the next year. In 1997, she and a business partner founded Global Freight Solutions. Along with her broker’s license, Lisa is also a Certified Customs specialist and is IATA-certified in dangerous goods handling. Lisa has served as a member of the IFFCHBA’s outbound and terminals committees and was chair of the terminals committee prior to becoming treasurer of the association.

Lisa has 21 years of industry experience and for the last 5 years has been with Carmichael International Service. She became a licensed broker in 1994. She is also a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) with the NCBFAA. Lisa served two years on the Inbound Customs Committee and one year on the IT Committee prior to becoming the IFFCHBA Secretary.
